NZ 11 SW NEWSHAM WETLANDS LANE

GV II

Farmhouse. Mid C18. Coarsely-dressed coursed sandstone, concrete
interlocking tile roof. 2 storeys and loft, 3 bays, with late C19 rear wing
to left, not of special interest. Quoins. Central C20 part-glazed door in
ashlar architrave with simple open pedimented hood. 2-light casement
windows with projecting ashlar sills and monolithic lintels scored as if of
voussoirs. Elaborately-shaped kneelers, ashlar coping. End stacks, of
brick to left, ashlar to right. Right return: small first-floor 4-pane sash
window; board door to loft.
