15/128 Cowhouse, approximately
15 metres west of Park
House

Former cowhouse. Late C18 - early C19. Rubble sandstone, stone slate roof.
Single storey, 5 internal bays. North elevation: quoins to left. From
left: board stable door in quoined surround; leaved board doors in
segmental-arched central cart opening; 2 board stable doors. Coping to
left. Roof hipped to right. Interior: stalls at either end (flanking
central entrance), each end having space for 4 beasts with tethering rail,
2 vented balks and stone troughs. Included for group value.
