19/9 Wall running from the
Stable Block, Lodge Yard,
to The Lodge, and doorway
to The Lodge
GV II
Wall with doorway. Wall late C18 - early C19; doorway 1802. Wall for John
Pratt, doorway for Joseph Lodge. Rubble wall, ashlar doorway. Wall
approximately 30 metres long, running north from north-east corner of The
Lodge (qv) to the south-west corner of the stable block (qv), approximately
2 metres high, with stepped slab coping. Board door, giving access to The
Lodge, near southernmost end of wall, in round-arched ashlar surround with
impost jambs, imposts and tripartite keystone.
