House. Dated 1667. Roughcast rubble, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 2
first-floor windows. Central part-glazed 4-panel door. Ground floor, to
left: blocked fire-window, 3-light window; to right: 2-light window in
surround of double-chamfered 3-light mullion window. First floor, to left:
recessed panel inscribed "NUNC MEA MOX HVIVS SED POSTEA NESCIO

CVIVS H 1667" ("now it is mine, formerly it was theirs, but afterwards I
know not to whom it will belong"); 3-light window; part of blocked mullion
window; 4-pane sash window. End stacks. Said to have been used as a pub,
The Boar Inn. Bulmer, History, Topography and Director of North Yorkshire
(1890), p 349: The Board Inn (sic).
