16.1.52 as Market Cross)

Cross. Dated 1674. Sandstone. Base of 7 square steps. Octagonal cross
shaft, tapering towards base. On south-west face, plain recessed panel on
horizontal arms of cross, and at top, panel inscribed "RB". On north-east
face, recessed panel on horizontal arms of cross with raised figures "1674".
Face masks in bas relief on ends of horizontal arms.
