Boundary marker. Late C19. Cast iron. Approximately 500 millimetres high,
triangular in plan. On-left-hand side, hand pointing left and "WEST
RIDING". On right-hand side, hand pointing right and "NORTH RIDING, ASKRIGG
H D". Top broken. Erected after the Highways Act of 1888. Included for
group value.
