5/37 Iford Bridge
G.V. II*

Iford Bridge. Circa 1400 but much restored. Coursed rubble and ashlar; coped
parapet. 2 semi-circular arches with central cutwater. On the south side is a
statue of Britannia, standing with a shield ( a trident is lost) - added by Harold
Peto c. 1899. Scheduled as an Ancient Monument.
