2 houses, now 1. Late C17 - early C18 and late C18. Coursed rubble, stone
slate roof. 3 and 2 storeys, 2:3 first-floor windows. Quoins. In centre,
4-panel door in quoined ashlar surround with decorated lintel. 2 bays to
left, on ground floor: sash windows with glazing bars in chamfered ashlar
surrounds; on first floor, 2-light casement and 15-pane fixed-light windows
in chamfered ashlar surrounds, formerly mullioned; on second floor. 6-pane
fixed-light windows in chamfered ashlar surrounds. Above door, sash window
with glazing bars in architrave. 2 bays to right: paired sash windows with
glazing bars in architraves. Coping to left. Corniced stack to left end,
end stack to right. To right, lower 2-storey outbuilding, with board door
below steps to first-floor board door. Rear elevation of house: 3 storeys
plus basement. 2-light chamfered mullion windows; double-chamfered windows
with mullions removed. Staircase cross-window with flat-faced mullion and
transom; C20 5-light flat-faced mullion window.
