including section of
garden wall to rear of

House and garden wall. Early C19th. Rendered with central pilaster strip of
knapped flint; hipped slate roof with overhanging bracketted eaves; central
ashlar stack. A picturesque mixture of Italianate and Gothick 2 storeys.
4 bays, outer 2 recessed. 1- and 2-light casements with pointed heads and
elaborate Gothick glazing. Pointed panelled door in moulded arch to left. To
rear of house is garden wall: rubble, approximately 15 feet high with 3 vaulted
chambers set into the hillside; pointed arch plank doors to each chamber.
