gates opposite the Hill

Railings, gatepiers and gates. Early C19th. Square ashlar gatepiers with
moulded caps at south end. Cast iron gates and railings with urns and authemion
design (opposite and originally part of the estate of the Hall). Extends
50 yards to the north to terminate in another square pier 15 yards from the north
end, the railings are ramped up over a spring with a stone basin below.
