6/195 Cart-shed and Granary at
Home Farm


Cart-shed and granary. Early C19. Coursed rubble, partly dressed, stone
slate roof. 2 storeys, 5 bays. Quoins. On ground floor, in bays 1 and 5,
board doors with deep lintels; in second-fourth bays, segmental-arched cart
openings with dressed voussoirs and piers, the latter with bases. First
floor: square openings with projecting sills and deep lintels, the first,
third and fifth with shutters, the second and fourth blind. , Hipped roof.
Rear: central 3 bays project slightly and are quoined; in each ground-floor
bay a blind doorway with flat arch; on first floor square openings as at
other side.
