6/64 Bridge over Hartforth

Bridge. Probably early C19. Dressed sandstone. 3 segmental arches with
triangular cutwaters. Parapet consisting of band below balusters of
rectangular section with square intermediate balusters, and coping of
segmental section. The bridge is of similar design to that at Carlton Park
in the civil parish of Stanwick St John (qv). There is a benchmark at the
centre of the inside upstream parapet.
