House, early C19. Fine ashlar, watershot to sides, with hipped green slate roof. Two
storeys and 3 bays. Windows sashed with some glazing bars. Stone doorcase of Tuscan
three-quarter columns with sections of entablature carrying an open pediment over a
round-headed doorway with keystone. Bracketed eaves. Two chimneys.
Dressed stone service wing runs back with some sashes with glazing bars. Similar
details to main house but at west end a 6-light chamfered stone mullion window,
perhaps early C20, with armorial glass.
Interior of Bank has reveals with raised and fielded panels throughout, and 6-panel
doors of C19 type. Right-hand room (now banking hall) has cornice decorated with leaf
and guilloche motifs. Left hand room has beams with Greek Key motif.
