Linesman's cottage and sports field entrance. Dated 1901. By T G Jackson. Rubble
brought to course, Westmorland slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Right of centre
entrance has 4-centre arch, moulded surround; wooden gates. Iron lantern above
arch. Entrance to left has moulded surround and dated decorated lintel. 2 small
3-light mullioned windows under eaves. Steeply pitched roof. 3 round gable-end
stacks to left, round ridge stack right of centre and square right-hand gable end
ridge stack.
