Farmhouse. Late C18/early C19 with C19 and mid C20 alterations. Rendered, painted
stone dressing, stone slate roof. Central staircase plan. Gable end to street.
Garden front: 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central entrance porch, Tuscan pilasters, moulded
lintel; 6 panel door, upper 2 glazed. On ground floor left- and right-hand mid
C20 canted bay windows under continuous slate hood. 3 upper floor windows: ;moulded
surrounds; C20 casements. Chamfered quoins, moulded eaves modillions. Gable end
coping and shaped kneelers. Gable end ridge stacks. Cl9 one bay extension to right.
Rear contains 2 chamfered windows per storey with sashes (16 panes, to left-hand
ground floor). Central segmental arched staircase window with impost blocks, moulded
arch and keystone; Gothic glazing. Farmbuilding at rear is inscribed WH1763
(William Husband).
