Former laundry, stables and carriage houses, now 3 cottages and stores. Late
C18 and C20 alterations. Watershot masonry, stone dressings, slate roofs.
Tripartite composition consisting of three 2-storey one bay pavilions with hipped roofs
linked by 2 single storey 4 bay ranges of stabling and outbuildings. Left-hand
pavilion: former laundry, now cottage, has tripartite ground floor window and upper
floor 2 light window with recessed flat faced mullions; casements. To right in
single storey range is cottage entrance with plain surround, plank door, 3-light
flat faced mullioned window with casements. Right-hand gable end ridge stack.
4 entrances to stable range with 7 panel doors, 2 with upper 2 panels cut out.
Shaped eaves modillions. Central pavilion: carriage entrance with segmental arcn;
plank doors. Above is monkey's-head-crest of the Yorke family. Upper floor with 11
pane fixed light. Single-storey range to right consists of utbuildings. 4 entrances,
one now blocked to form winodw; shaped eaves modillions. Right-hand carriage house
now converted to form 2 cottages. Former carriage entrance blocked with 2 windows
inserted. 2 upper floor windows; casements. Left-hand gable end ridge stack.
C19 extension to right 2 storeys, 4 bays contains 2 cottage entrances; C20 alterations.
