Rook Cottage


Probably former toll house, now cottage. Early C19. Limewashed rubble, painted
stone dressings, slate roof, hipped at left-hand return. L shaped plan. Single
storey, 3 bays. Entrance right of centre has plain surround; C20 plank door.
3 windows: central 2-light flat faced mullioned, outer two are single light;
c1970 casements. Left-hand and right of centre ridge stacks. Single bay rear
wing to right. Interior not accessible. Included for group value.
