Farmhouse. Dated 1771 with late C19 and C20 alterations. Watershot masonry,
painted stone dressings, slate roof. Central staircase plan. Rear to street.
Garden front 2 storeys, 2 bays. Central entrance has plain surround, 5-panel door,
upper panel has 8-pane fanlight. Datestone above entrance inscribed: H
R I (Robert
and Isabel Holgate). 2 windows per storey, all formerly 3-light but mullions now
missing; C20 casements. To left is C19 one bay addition with mid-C20 single light
upper floor window; casement. Gable end kneelers and coping; gable end ridge stacks
and ridge stack left of centre at former left-hand gable. Rear contains round-
headed staircase window with projecting keystone, 24-pane fixed light with inter-
secting tracery in head. One ground floor and 2 upper floor windows contain
Yorkshire sliding sashes. Interior: dog-leg staircase with stick balusters.
