Inn. Late C17 with C19 and C20 alterations. Squared rubble, stone dressings, stone
slate roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays including late C19 left-hand bay. Left-hand entrance
has plain surround and hood, plank door. To right are 3 ground floor double
chamfered mullioned windows of 4, 3 and 4-lights respectively. To left on each
floor is late C19 window with plain surround and sashes. 3 C17 double chamfered
mullioned windows on upper floor: two 2-light and a 3-light. The C17 windows have
2-pane fixed lights or sashes. Eaves modillions. Gable end and right of centre
ridge stacks. Reputed to contain internal door with chamfered surround and lintel
inscribed WH 1678.
