Farmhouse. Late C17 with mid-late C19 and C20 alterations. Limewashed watershot
masonry, painted stone dressings, stone slate -roof. 2 storeys, bays. Left-hand
entrance has plain surround; plank door. To right on both floors is double
chamfered 3-light mullioned window and similar but 2-light window to left on upper
floor; 2-pane casements and fixed lights. Left of centre ridge stack. West gable
reputedly contains blocked door with decorated lintel inscribed WH IH
1689
