Farmhouse. Late C17 with C19 and C20 alterations. Slobbered squared rubble, stone
dressings, stone slate roof. Formerly 2-cell plan, rear late C19 extension has
created central staircase plan. Rear to street. Garden front: 2 storeys, 3 bays.
Central entrance has chamfered surround, c1980 glazed door. On ground floor 2
former 4-light double chamfered mullioned windows, both now 2-light with only
central king mullion remaining. Dripmould rises over entrance. On upper floor
is central light with chamfered surround, probably originally 2-light with mullion
now missing. 2 outer lights were each formerly 3-light double chamfered mullioned,
but in both cases only left-hand mullion remains. C20 casements. Gable end coping
and kneelers. Gable end ridge stacks. Right-hand room contains fireplace with
chamfered surround and basket arch of 9 joggled voussoirs.
