Farmhouse. C17 with C19 and C20 alterations. Pebbledashed, rendered dressings,
slate roof. Gable end entrance: 2 storeys, 2 bays. Right-hand entrance has
moulded surround and decorated lintel which is heavily weathered with only initials
AA partly discernable. Hoodmould over is partly hidden on right by c1960s single-
storey extension. To left is ground floor later C19/early C20 window with 4
pane sashes. Above entrance is upper floor 2-light recessed flat-faced mullioned
window; C20 casements. Gable-end ridge stack. Left-hand return. 2 storeys,
4 bays. On ground floor to left are remains of 2 C17 2-light chamfered windows
and 4 similar windows on upper floor, all cement rendered with C20 casements
and mullions now gone. An upper floor dripmould has been cut and lifted above
a large inserted 3-light window with rendered recessed flat-faced mullions;
C20 casements. Interior: in passage is basket-arched entrance with moulded
surround.
