6/30 Barn to Mewith Head Hall
Barn. Dated 1708. For Ralph and Margaret Bayner. Slobbered squared rubble,
stone slate roof. 3 bays. Waggon entrance left of centre, segmental arch;
2 leaf plank doors. Oval datestone inscribed B/R M. Right-hand entrance has
chamfered surround. 2 small C20 casement windows. Left-hand gable kneeler and
ball finial. Right-hand ball finial at former gable, now at junction with
extension. Included for group value.
