Parish boundary stone. Probably early to mid-C19. Painted millstone grit slab
about 1 metre high and about 1 metre wide. 2 horizontal scored lines, between
which is inscribed 'THORNTON 'BURTON
IN and IN
separated by a vertical V-shaped groove. Chamfered arrises. Rear is plain.
