Low Threaber Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Dated 1713 with late C19 alterations. Slobbered rubble, painted
stone dressings, slate roof. 2 storey, 3 bays. Central entrance has moulded
jambs on square bases. Moulded lintel with pulvinated frieze, cornice and date;
4 panel door, upper 2 glazed. 2 ground floor and 3 upper floor windows, all
have moulded surrounds and were probably 2-light with mullions cut out and 9
pane sashes inserted, lower sash in each window now has 2 panes only. Left-hand
kneeler and coping and massive projecting left-hand ridge stack. Right-hand
gable end ridge stack. Part of right-hand gable end wall abuts rear of barn.
Late C19 rear wing to farmhouse.
