Thornton Cottage
Cottage. Mid C17 with C20 alterations. Rubble, painted stone dressings, c1984
tile roof, brick central ridge stack. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Left-hand entrance
has plain surround; c1950 door. To right C18 ground floor and upper floor 2-light
window with recessed flat-faced mullions; C20 casement on ground floor; 8 pane
sashes on upper floor. Right-hand bay has 1985 2-light wincdow in each storey.
Right-hand quoins. Included for group value.
