II
Lodge. Dated 1850. Watershot masonry, stone dressings, hexagonal stone slates
to roof. T shaped plan. 2 storeys, 3 bays comprising right-hand wing of 2 bays
and projecting left-hand gabled bay. Right-hand wing has left-hand entrance,
plain lintel and 4 panel door. Right hand ground floor 2-light flat faced mullioned
window with 5 pane metal fixed lights and casements. Timber and stone slate
verandah. 2 upper floor windows: left-hand 2-light flat faced mullioned with
4 pane metal fixed lights and casements and right-hana half dormer in similar
but with imitation Y tracery. Between the 2 upper floor windows is a datestone
inscribed:

with hoodmould. Left-hand projecting bay has ground-floor bay window of 4 lights
with flat faced mullions and 6 pane metal casements and fixed lights with margin
pane glazing; hipped slate roof. Upper floor narrow 3 light flat faced mullioned
windows with 5 pane metal casements and fixed lights, and small central 3 pane
fixed light above. Exposed purlins to overhanging gable. Tall left-hand projecting
eaves stack, right-hand gable end ridge stack. Late C19 continuous outshut at
rear.
