Cottage. C17 with C20 alterations. Slobbered squared rubble, stone dressings,
stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central entrance has plain lintel, C20
door. On ground floor to left are a single-light and 2-light double chamfered
window, both under same hoodmould. On ground floor to right is double-chamfered
2-light mullioned window with slate dripstone. 3 similar windows in same position
on upper floor, but without hoodmould or dripstone; C20 leaded casements and
fixed lights. Gable end ridge stacks. Left hand return: on ground floor are
3-light double chamfered mullioned window with slate hood and 2-light round headed
window on ground floor; latter is reputed to have come from Feizor Barracks,
a now demolished building of supposed monastic origin.
Wrongly marked on OS map as Stockdale House.
