11/19 Fern Cottage
House and shop. C17, refronted C19, with C20 alterations. Watershot masonry,
stone dressings, stone slate roof. 3 storeys, 3 bays. Entrance to right of
centre has plain surround and 7 panel door, all glazed in 1986. Ground floor
left-hand window in 2-light flat-faced mullioned with 1986 fixed lights. Other
windows have plain surrounds and projecting sills with ground floor 1986 fixed
light, first floor sashes and second floor C20 casements. Modillions at eaves.
Right-hand ridge stack at former left-hand gable marked by projecting quoins.
At rear is C17 projecting wing shared with Eiliam (qv).
