5/73 Bridge Cottage


House, probably late C17, with alterations and cottage added C19. Slobbered
rubble with stone slate roof. Two storeys, and four bays overall. House to right
has chamfered doorway, made up with cement but showing large stones to jambs.
To right of this is a 3-light double chamfered stone mullion window. About it
is a 12-pane sash in the reveal of a square mullion window of 2 lights. Cottage
has plain doorway and 16-pane sash window to ground floor. Gable chimneys. Outshuts
to rear are later but have sashes.
