SD 94 NW LOTHERSDALE THE FOLD

17

Row of houses, later Cl? and C19. Rubble with stone slate roof. 5 chimneys.
C17 detail is evident only to Nos 15 and 16, but Nos 14 and 17 may be of the
same age as the gables are coped with kneelers. Two storeys. No 14 has windows
with flush square mullions, one of 3 lights to ground floor and 2 of 2 lights
above. Nos 14 and 15 have chamfered doorways in a broad, gabled single storey
rubble porch. Nos 15 and 16 each have a 4-light double chamfered stone mullion
window with hoodmould to ground floor, and a 3-light similar window without hoodmould
above. No 16 has a later doorway. No 17 has plain stone surrounds to windows,
which have lost mullions to either side of recent porch.
