5/92 Langber Farm

Farmhouse and barn, now house, later C18 or early C19. Rubble with stone slate
and slate roof. Two storeys. House of two bays, with added single bay once
used as a dairy to ground floor and preserving external access. Openings have
plain reveals except for the two windows to left of the door on each floor, which
each have 2 lights and a recessed square mullion. Inside house are a small fire-
place of C18 type and a larger one of the same type with beehive oven at one
side. The barn is largely featureless aid has 3 trusses with collars. The wall
of the barn abutting the house, and shared with it, has a plinth at the base
on which stands a light pair of crucks, butted at the apex, which is entirely
embedded in the present wall along with stubs of a ridge-piece and purlin.
