Village school and school house. Circa 1840s, altered and extended later C19.
Rubble with freestone dressings; double Roman tiled roof with coped raised
verges on moulded kneelers; octagonal ashlar stacks. Single storey, 2 bay
school room at left with 2 plain 4-light casement windows; gabled cross wing
at left with doorway in chamfered and 4-centre headed surround on south
elevation. The school house is the gabled cross wing at the right; of 2
storeys; 3-light casement windows with lattice glazing pattern. Doorway
set back in gabled porch to left; chamfered and 4-centre headed surround.
3 bays to side elevation.
