Two houses. Late C18 or early C19. Rubble, graduated stone slate roof. 2
stories, 5 first-floor windows, beneath eaves. Two C20 board doors
between left-hand windows and below fourth first-floor window. 16-pane
sashes throughout. All openings have slight plain stone surrounds. Stacks
to left end and between windows 2 and 3. Possibly built or adapted c1820
as workers' cottages for the cotton mill (q.v) Included for group value.
