22/22 High Green Cottage (formerly
listed as Cottage between
20.2.58 Falcon and Prospect House)

GV II

House. Early-mid C18. Rubble, whitewashed; graduated stone slate roof. 2
storeys, 2 bays with outshut right. Half-glazed 4-panel door left of
centre; 2-light flat-faced mullion windows to left, each floor; smaller,
almost square, single-light windows to right, with 2-pane casements. End
stacks. Outshut with deeply recessed board door, probably a stable. This
house appears to be contemporary with the mill (q.v.) and may have been
built by or for a mill worker. Included for group value.
