Farmhouse. Late C17, completely remodelled mid-late C18. Limestone rubble,
ashlar dressings, graduated stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Quoins.
central half-glazed 4-panel door in plain surround covered by gabled
latticed timber porch, small square window to right. C20 casements in
plain stone surrounds throughout, the first-floor lintels to eaves height.
A blocked C17 round-headed window to ground floor, right. Corniced end
stacks. Interior not inspected at resurvey. Northcote was a grange of
Fountains Abbey, serving the important centre at Kilnsey.
