House. Dated 1697. Coursed gritstone rubble, graduated stone slate roof. 2
storeys, 4 bays, with 2-storey porch to bay 3. Quoins. C20 porch door in
chamfered quoined surround with massive single-block lintel incised in
imitation of voussoirs, above it 3 stones form a triangle of ashlar work
and have the date "1697" inscribed. Bulbous kneelers, coping and stump of
a finial to porch gable. Recessed chamfered mullion windows throughout, of
4, 4, and 2 (mullion missing) lights to ground floor, and three of 3 lights
to first floor, beneath eaves. Former barn, now part of house to left, not
of special interest. Interior not inspected at resurvey; the former list
description records that the inner doorway has a segmental head similar to
that on the porch.
