House. Late C18. Rendered, graduated stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 7 bays
with recessed half-bay to right. Quoins exposed to right. 3 steps,with
nosing,to central 6-panel door with fanlight and pilasters to entablature
with paterae and corniced open pediment above. Windows are plate-glass
sashes in architraves. Shaped kneelers, gable copings, corniced end stacks
and ridge stack to right of entrance. Recessed bay to right is not rendered
having shaped kneelers, gable coping and large stack to right gable.
Interior not inspected at resurvey. The Netherside Hall (Threshfield)
records show that the house was occupied by William Atkinson, a fringe
manufacturer, who died in 1816.
