Description

CONISTON COLD A65
SD 95 NW (south side)

3/40 Old Post Office

GV II

House, late C17 or early C18 with altered openings. Rubble with stone slate
roof. 3 chimneys. Two storeys, but the appearance to the road is of a
continuous outshut, two storey at left and single storey at right. The windows
are unmoulded, 2 light to each storey to left of plain doorway, and a large sash
with all glazing bars to right. Next to one of the 2-light windows is a blocked
