5/85 Aqueduct at Holme Bridge


Aqueduct which carries the Leeds and Liverpool Canal over Eshton Beck. c.1790.
Robert Whitworth engineer. Dressed stone. 5 low segmental arches, their faces
and spandrels in line, surmounted by a tall slightly curved parapet set back in
the centre.
