House, now 2 houses. Late C17. Coursed squared stone with ashlar
dressings, machine tile roof. Double depth plan. 2 storeys, 5 bays.
Chamfered quoins. Central 1/2-glazed door with moulded stone architrave. 16-
pane casements. First floor: 2 left-hand bays have C20 12-pane casements,
central bay and that to its left have 12-pane casements with wooden
mullions. Left-hand window is blocked and has a stone mullion. All windows
have moulded stone surrounds. Moulded stone eaves cornice. End stacks.
Rear has arched stair window with moulded stone surround. Interior: late
C17 staircase with twist balusters. Front room has late C17 panelling with
Ionic pilasters and very fine carved stone fireplace.
