Cottage, now subdivided. Late C17. Rubble with freestone dressings, C20
tiled roof with coped raised verges and ashlar stacks. Single storey and
attics in steep stone gables. 3 irregular 2- and 3- light casement windows in
ovolo moulded surrounds with mullions and under dripmoulds. C20 doors,
No. 39 is under a dripmould. Semi-circular projection to No. 40, formerly a
bread oven.
