8/166 Newton Farmhouse


Farmhouse. Late C17, extended C19. Coursed rubble with freestone dressings,
slate roof with coped raised verges, ashlar end stacks. 3 storeys and 4 irregular
3- and 2-light casement windows in ovolo moulded surrounds with mullion, conti-
nuous stringcourse over 2 right windows. Panelled door at left. Gable surmounted
by stack at centre of eaves.
