9/22 Compton Court Hotel

House, now hotel. Late C18 with wing reconstructed C20. Brown mottled
brick, ashlar dressings, wooden eaves, hipped slate roof, red brick
stacks. 2-storey, 3-bay centre with single-storey, single-bay wings,
and rear outshut. Central late C20 glazed double doors under decorated
radial fanlight, in doorcase of engaged Doric columns and open dentil
pediment with entablature. Sashes with glazing bars under painted
cambered arches of rubbed brick throughout. Side wings: sash with
glazing bars and parapet, angle piers with capping and urns. End
