GV II

House. Mid C18 with C19 alterations. Pale brown brick in Flemish bond with
red brick dressings, plain tile roof to front, pantiles to rear and
outshuts. 3 storeys, 3 first floor windows, 2-storey C19 outshut to left,
central C19 stair turret to rear with infill to right. Central 6-panel door
early C19 pedimented portico of engaged pilasters and freestanding slender
columns supporting a frieze and dentil cornice which continue across canted
bays to either side which contain small-paned sashes. Canted bays break tile
first floor band which continues across left gable end. First floor: sashes
with glazing bars in flush wood architraves under flat arches of red brick.
3-course second floor band carried round left gable end. Second floor
unequally-hung 9-pane sashes to outer bays, mock 9-pane sash to centre bay.
Modillion eaves band. End stacks. Left gable has sashes with glazing bars
under blocked elliptical arches.
