semi-circular head. Approximately 1 metre in height. Raised inscription
painted black on white background: BOSTON / 2 MILES / WEATHERBY / 5¼ MILES /
HAREWOOD / 9 MILES/ / OTLEY / 17¼ MILES (on west face) TADCASTER / 2 MILES
(on east lace) TADCASTER & OTLEY / ROAD/ NEWTON KYME (around head).
