House now hotel. Late C18 with C20 restoration. Pinkish-brown brick in
Flemish bond with magnesian limestone and red brick dressings and Welsh
slate roof. Central hall plan. 3 storeys, 5 bays. 3-course ashlar plinth.
Ashlar quoin to ends. 4 steps with plain wrought-iron balustrade to
6 fielded panel door under oblong fanlight in magnesian limestone architrave
beneath triangular pediment supported by consoles. Ashlar cill band to
ground and first floor windows which are sashes with glazing bars - that
above door is false. Second floor: 6-pane sashes - that to centre is false.
Ashlar cills. All windows under flat arches of red gauged brick with triple
ashlar keystones. Ashlar modillion eaves band. Ashlar coping and remains
of kneeler to left gable. End stacks. Interior: shutters to some windows.
