Church. 1846. By George Fowler Jones. Magnesian limestone ashlar with
sandstone dressings and Welsh slate roof. North porch, 4-bay nave, 2-bay
chancel with octagonal vestry to north and further vestry to south. Gothic
Revival. North side: plinth. Porch to 2nd bay has pointed arch with
collonettes supporting roll moulding under hoodmould. Entrance a long-panel
door in chamfered surround. Bays to nave articulated by buttresses and with
trefoiled lancets throughout. Eaves band. Chancel: vestry to north has
angle buttresses and lancet windows. Pyramidal roof. Vestry to south:
pointed doorway under hoodmould with 2- and 3- light trefoil-headed
windows. Cusped quatrefoil above door. West end: long-panel pointed
doorway between colonnettes supporting roll moulding and under hoodmould.
tall trefoiled lancets. Central rose window below bell turret. East end:
3 tall stepped trefoiled lancets. Trefoil window to gable. Ashlar coping.
Interior has whitewashed walls and painted braced collar roof.
