House. 'This Ground given by / HENRY YARBURGH Esqr. / for a School House, /
built by Subscription / by the Township of / Heslington 1795' on plaque,
with C20 additions and alterations. Pinkish-brown brick with red brick
dressings and pantile roof. Central lobby-entry plan. Single storey, 3
bays with outshut now garage to right and outshut to rear. Entrance a C20
part-glazed door with overlight under replaced cambered head. 16-part-
glazed door with overlight under replaced cambered head. 16-pane sashes are
replacement openings under C20 cambered heads. Ridge stack. Tumbled-in
brickwork to gable ends. Included for group consideration.
