Ornamental fountain. Inscribed around rim 'ERECTED BY THE INHABITANTS OF
ESCRICK AND DEIGHTON IN COMMEMORATION OF THE DIAMOND JUBILEE OF QUEEN
VICTORIA AD 1897', incription now weathered. Ashlar. Stepped octagonal
then circular plinth surmounted by Gadrooned urn with upturned scallop shell
to outer rim. On top a 3-sided ornamental feature of 3 open-mouthed,
toothed dolphin-like fish, their heads to the rim, their tails intertwined.
Disused as fountain at time of re-survey.
